Swamiji has created the ashram at Karla from pure LOVE.. His concern for the poor and the trampled ones was limitless.His compassion for the ailing had no parallels. The school for the handicapped at Virar was entirely His creation. He desired that a hospital be built at Karla to serve the needs of the villagers in and around the ashram. As a beginning, a Medical Centre was started a few years ago. While medicines and funds were provided by large-hearted donors, the Parivar volunteers ensured the smooth running of the Health Centre. Specialist doctors from Mumbai and Talegaon visit the Centre on a regular basis. The Talegaon hospital delivers free treatment to patients refered from Karla Centre.

The Parivaris have come together spontaneously, without any propoganda or coersion. It is simply a burning desire in the hearts of each one of us to do something in His memory, to strive to fulfil His dreams, to adhere to His "Guruvakya" concerning our Guruparampara. We believe that the words He has uttered are final in defining the Adi Parijnan Parampara.

It is our fond hope that we will be able to work ceaseless at KARLA and succeed in living up to His expectations and die supporting His cause. That will be the ideal Guru Dakshina.
